Catherine Elizabeth Middleton was born on January 9, 1982, in Reading, England. Although Kate could eventually become monarch, she was brought up in a family of upper middle class together with her older brothers. Kate's mother started a successful business named Party Pieces. The business sells party accessories that was worth $45 million at the time of its 2011. All that being said, her strong connections to the royal family is apparent. From 1926 to the present, royals maintained close contact to the Middleton families. Trust funds that were established more than 100 years ago have been a boon for multiple generations of Middleton families. Kate Middleton, who was 2 years old at that moment, relocated with her family to Jordan which was where her father employed as a pilot for British Airways. Kate Middleton enrolled at St. Andrew's College after her return from Jordan, along with her family of four. After graduation from Downe House School, Middleton went on to study at Marlborough College and Marlborough College. She then went on to attend The University of St. Andrews.
